Oxy Cube S40 here. - Become a Fan! Last we heard about the planned Justice League movie was writer Will Beall's script was so bad it was being scrapped and Warner Bros would be starting from scratch. Now, word is the studio is looking to The Dark Knight success as inspiration on how to move forward with the planned superhero team-up. Latino Review reports that WB has turned to Christopher Nolan to not only take on producer duties on Justice League, but has also been tapped to oversee the entire DC Universe and plans are to bring Christian Bale back as our favorite Caped Crusader. Nolan is currently producing the Superman reboot and rumor is the studio may hand directing duties on Justice League over to Man of Steel's Zack Snyder. The move is reportedly in response to the Marvel Universe being handed over to Joss Whedon and J.J. Abrams in charge of the Star Wars franchise.

In addition to Bale returning as Batman, the film will include Henry Cavill reprising his role as Superman. No word yet if Joseph Gordon-Levitt would be making a return as Robin or which other heroes would be included. One option could be a Batman/Superman team-up prior to a full on Justice League movie. David Goyer, who helped develop the stories for all 3 Dark Knight films as well as writing the screenplay for Man of Steel, is also rumored to be involved, but whether he will be drafting a new script or just developing the story is unclear. Keep in mind nothing has been confirmed by the studio, but do you think Nolan is the perfect man to take control of the DC Universe and would you like to see Bale return as Batman or would you prefer to see a new actor put on the cowl?
