This is a must see for even NON superman fans. I really, really enjoyed this show and it just keeps going strong. I highly recommend anyone who wants to see a TV show thats entertaining, fun, fast, and an all around a great time than this show is for you.

Even if your not familiar with any comic books or superman movies this show can still stand on its own as well. By BK509 Smallville is absolutely one of the best comic book superhero adaptations ever made. It truly offers everything a superman fan would love such as; Clark Ken'ts background, his character development, origin of powers (superspeed, superstrength, x-ray vision and invaulnerability), his first love Lana Lang (*She is so hot!!!*) and even an unlikely friendship with his greatest villian Lex Luthor. Check Drivers Licence Demerit Points Victoria here.

Now note this is an adaptation therefore it does not follow the conventional comic book storyline. However, this does not mean that it is bad; it offers everything action, romance and the struggles of high school acceptance. This series is without a doubt equal or of a greater caliber than the films Batman Begins and the Dark Knight combined.

Clark has exiled himself to Metropolis. With all morals lost under the influence of red kryptonite, Clark has been engaging in many criminal activities to fund his personal expenses. With everyone still searching for Clark, it may take more than just kryptonite to stop him. Lex is found, still alive, on a deserted island. Brought back home, he undergoes several psychiatric evaluations. After learning of his father's hand in the death of his grandparents, Lex suffers a 'psychotic break' and is institutionalized by Lionel. Lex is accused of murder and as a deal with the FBI agrees to provide evidence against his father.

With the help of Chloe, Lex is able to provide a case against his father and have him sent to jail to await trial. Clark and Lana's relationship ends faster than it begins, Clark meets Perry White, learns more about his biological father and his friends, loses his sight, and gains a new ability.

Finally, sacrificing himself to save his father, Clark agrees to fulfill the destiny that Jor-El wants; pulled into the Kawatchi Cave wall, he is transported into space. Lionel takes care of some loose ends, to acquit himself of the allegations of murder, by having Lex and Chloe removed from the equation. Tornadoes have struck Smallville, and Lana is stranded in their path. Jonathan is lost in the woods, chasing a reporter with evidence that will reveal Clark's secret. Clark and Lana's relationship grows deeper, only to be thwarted by Whitney's return from service. Clark's hormones trigger the acquisition of a new ability.

Clark confides in Pete, discovers ancient Native American caves that may lead him to some answers about his origins, comes into contact with a new form of kryptonite, gains knowledge of his heritage from a familiar source, and finally speaks to his biological father whose motives greatly disturb and perplex the young superhero. Attempting to defy Jor-El results in major repercussions for the Kents; causing Clark to runaway from Smallville and exile himself from everyone he knows and loves. Lex marries, but during the plane ride on the couple's honeymoon, he awakens to a pilotless plane descending rapidly into the ocean.
